2 cups of fresh Mint leaves (washed)
1 cup of fresh coriander leaves
1 medium onion roughly chopped
1 green chilly (add more if you like)
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 “ ginger root
1 tspn lemon juice
salt to taste
1) Mix all ingredients exept lemon juice in a grinder and make a paste.
2) Add the lemon juice and keep refrigerated until use. Stays well for a week.
You can skip the onion and garlic to preserve longer. Apply on bread for sandwiches, chapati’s for rolls or as a condiment. Also, mix with curd to serve as a raita.
