Hummus needs no introduction , it is the famous middle eastern dip served often with pita bread or falafels.
2 cups soaked and boiled Chickpeas/ Kabuli Chana
1 tspn tahini paste (white sesame seeds dry roasted and ground to a paste)
1 tspn paprika
1 tspn lemon juice
salt to taste
1) Grind the chickpeas to a paste in a mixie to form a smooth paste
2) Add the rest of the ingredients except oil and mix well
3) Make hollow depressions and pour oil .
4) Sprinkle with more paprika
Serve with Pita bread/ tortilla chips or with falafels.
